Location: Tyrell Bay anchorage, Carriacou (a small island, part of Grenada)
After a 24 hour passage down the island chain we are now anchored in Tyrell Bay, Carriacou, one of our favourite islands. We left Martinique just before the marina was closed down and most of the islands we passed on the way here are already closed for entry. We were lucky and managed to check in here though it did include a compulsory health check and temperature taking.
Friends Dick and Mary on Alacazam and Tim and Gayle on Wild Bird have also scuttled here. Everyone is uncertain of their next step but at least we are in a country with friends.
It's out of Europe here so calls in and out are very pricey as is data. We'll be looking for a wifi spot and a local SIM in the next few days.
Meanwhile stay safe wherever you are.
Love
John and Gill x
